In order to consolidate the major national needs and better promote the development of green, low-carbon, environmental and intelligent transportation system technology based on Transportation Electrification, and support energy revolution and building China's strength in transportation, "The 7th IEEE Workshop on Emerging Technologies of Transportation Electrification" is scheduled to be held in Wuhan from April 6 to 8, 2023. The workshop is hosted by CPSS Transportation Electrification Committee, and jointly organized by Wuhan Institute of Marine Electric Propulsion, Tsinghua University and CRRC Zhuzhou Institute.

" The IEEE Workshop on Emerging Technologies of Transportation Electrification " is a major academic conference held every year since 2017. It is the first interdisciplinary, chiasmatype and open workshop for transportation electrification in China. Chen Qingquan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and IEEE Life Fellow, is the honorary chair of the conference. GUI Wenbin, director of Wuhan Institute of Marine Electric Propulsion, is the general chair of the conference. Li Mingyong, deputy director of Wuhan Institute of Marine Electric Propulsion, is the executive chair of the conference.

The workshop will discuss the scientific issues and key technologies of transportation electrification in the form of keynote speech and symposia, and discuss the development of transportation electrification technology in the context of carbon neutrality and emission peak. The workshop will build a one-stop exchange and cooperation platform for domestic universities, research institutions and enterprises in the industry to discuss core technologies, key equipment and system integration and other most advanced technologies in the field of transportation electrification, boosting the progress of transportation electrification and the development of the whole chain industry.
